I’m running because the people who make Temecula work should be able to afford to live here. I’m a single mom, a grocery worker, and a longtime Temecula resident who got tired of watching working families do everything right and still struggle to get ahead. I went from asking questions at City Hall to realizing I wanted a seat at the table where the decisions are actually made.
There is no single solution to the housing crisis because a diverse population has diverse needs. Temecula needs a diversity of housing stock, including attainable options for working families, renters, seniors, and everyone in between. I will push for a mix of zoning reform, renter protections, and increased affordable units.
Temecula has been built around the car, and that has to change. I will advocate for better public transit, bike infrastructure, and walkable neighborhood design so residents have real alternatives and our roads become less congested.
Most people never make it to a city council meeting, but they are talking about their community on Facebook, at dinner, and with their neighbors. I will push for radical transparency and meet residents where they are, using the city's social media not for self-promotion but to educate, inform, and make local politics a real dinner table conversation.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
